A7 General description

A7 is a complete embedded, and the Industrial PC (IPC) designed for mounting on DIN rail. Slightly larger than the circuit breaker, the A7 is a compact PC without rotating components, the "vertical orientation" and a powerful Intel Atom processors of 1.1 and 1.6 GHz, which is characterized by low heat dissipation and power consumption.

Atributes

A7 can be fully configured to meet customer needs. It has all of the primary interfaces: VGA, LAN, USB, RS-232 and RS-485 (Modbus). If  Wi-Fi,  GPRS, Bluetooth, Audio, or other interfaces are requested, USB adapters can solve the task and many of them are miniature. With its analog and digital IN / OUT module A7 communicates via "BUS connector" on the DIN rail.

Use

Industrial PC controller A7 allows you to capitalize your existing IT infrastructure and cost-effective way to increase productivity and enviroment performances. Based on open-standard PC this product allows easy integration with hardware and software components in the existing network, using a common operating system, communication protocols,  connection methods and already established knowledge of employees in the implementation of the PC system.

Software

A7 operates using following operating systems: Windows XP, Vista, XP Embedded, WePOS, Windows CE 6.0 and Linux.

Due to its compatibility with PC standards, A7 will work with any PC software, and we have already used it with popular tools like CoDeSys IEC 61131-3 for Windows CE 6.0, LabWIEW and CVI.

 

 

Delivery and prices

A small amount samples of A7 is available immediately. Initial production is planned to start in 2012 when it is expected the production of analog and digital IN / OUT module. At the moment prices are not yet known, but it is known that the price of analog and digital IN / OUT module will be at the level of comparable products from the Far East, while the A7 prices will be lower than similar products from Europe.
